Miracle Fruits & Cedar Bay Cherries by

Both grown @ McGreens in FNQ. The smaller ones are Miracle Fruits – that will make anything taste SWEET! Grapefruits taste so YUM! The Cherries “grow on you” and aren’t quite like the Bing Chery but can be yummy if it has been wet and sunny.

I have heard of the miracle fruit, but haven’t ever tasted it, or seen a photo of the whole fruit. The Cedar Bay cherries look like a lillypilly fruit but the type is new to me. We have a lillypilly tree in our backyard that sometimes has a few fruts on it but I have never eaten any.

  • Funny I saw a lillypilly blossom today and it looked like the cedar bays’ but the tree’s leaves were different! Cedar Bay cherries are native of Queensland rainforests I think!
