This is the Sandhills that I’ve been following since the twins were hatched almost 11 weeks ago. As you can see, they’re as tall as their parents now. The cap on their heads won’t turn red until they’re about 6 months old, but they’re filling out nicely. At about the same time as their caps turn red, their eyes will begin to change from dark brown to a beautiful orange red.
