This is one of the Sandhill Crane twins that I photographed 5 weeks ago when they were one week old. They’re now six weeks old and feeling bold and brave.
Splendiferous, Delores! Perfect in every way. I love the unique stance, the direct stare into the camera, the wide open bill, and of course those beautifully focused outstretched wings.
