rebirth

Thank you Steve Dupere for the word ‘rebirth’,
inspiring me to write this piece tonight.
Thank you my dear friend,

and to a woman I saw speak as part of a tv documentary
I watched tonight.
She’s had acid thrown in her face and is
scarred for life.. and in spite of her struggles amidst
the cruel taunts she receives she knows ‘light’.
She knows purpose as ‘giving love’ as she helps care
for her baby nephew.
She is taking responsibilty for her own happiness.

rebirth belongs to the following groups:

‘sweetest dream beguiling
that I wake
to smiling eyes of morning peace
a new me rising’

awake aligned
in winter cold in raining silver
or summer heat of flaming gold
the light inside yes wake aligned
a heart expanding
then contracting
see one’s self
one’s breathing rising
falling
be one’s self
‘my life and me not two but one’

wither not in shadows past
deflect which counts no more that
does not equal future’s
shiny brightness
better
to be an inspiration
greet the dawn
with a song
the past’s been slept on
far too long
and God
while you sleep [ ever has been ]
working on that brand new morning

leave the ’ stuff ‘
of pasts long spent in
darkened tomb with
warring fighting
drugs and booze
child neglect
unfaithfulness
time ill spent
in fear and lies
life’s thirsty in that
filled up darkened tomb

inner space is
room for light
awareness knowing peace
embraces
grace new born
to slowly grow within
each purpose finding
ground within for outer
not a struggling on ‘outgoing’
but a resurrection as a journey home
the unreachable one searches for
right ‘here’ in conscious manifestation
of the new day’s
water of life.

And thank you Del Millar for allowing the world a glimpse into one of the most beautiful minds God has ever manifest.

    I love you Del…..

You’re awesome do you know that. Thank you again for the ‘not by chance’
rebirth word, and not by chance on the same night I watched the documentary,
a hard watch, upsetting but humbly. The woman, one of the thousands disfigured,
spoke of ‘light’ , and her words ” what can I give now but love ” impacted,
because she is giving the best thing there is in life ’ love ’. I wrote further about
this woman in my next piece Two Women Two Worlds.
Thank you again yes, love is God, God is love, there is nothing more precious.
Thank you for you dear friend, your writing is unique and complete, and I
pinch your words about ’ allowing the world a glimpse’ when they read your writing.
Bucket loads of love to you Steve.

It’s that you see the “awesome” in others that makes you who you are “A child to the most high.”

I love you as much as I’ve ever loved anyone Del and I respect you to the ends of the earth.
How blessed I am to have such a friend….
