A Woman's View

Glorious life how it pulses
how it thrusts
we women dive in laughing
some of us
Lluuvvvve
our men so much
their blatant masculinity
not of macho arrogance
but in a certain trust
and get to know their familiar stride
like digging away the layers of earth
heaven to touch
and we women
are fountains
hot pleasure
sprouts and whirls us
molten to the dust of
natural being
lust
we curve our arms
of welcome
we curve in softness
to fit like a picture
of sensuality much
like forests and streams
verdant fields
gentle hills
our lips the tributary
of ocean’s kiss just
as the forces of dawning
and we to our men’s
defences rush
when theirs are down
feel the claws of their
anxiety
allay them with our soft
sure wisdom
and in approaching
dusk
hope
chivalry lives
to linger with us.

you can certainly weave a web of words most exquisitely Del ;) xoxox ♥

  • Del Millar replied

    Thank you TK.
If that people would weave but the gift of love
    instead of a designed web.

Perfect, Del. Wise and brilliant! When men and women compliment one another, come together with their own special strengths and tenderness, no matter what the occasion the experience is divine.

  • Del Millar replied

Thank you Joe. As love is meant in the meaning of the word.
For two, if love is used for using, won’t fit together as love is meant to.

Amen Del. Wow this poem casts a spell on me…powerful, profound and beautiful in its life and truth. Strength and Softness in perfect balance and harmony …yin/yang
...masculine/feminine…what a beautiful dance this is. Anthea x

  • Del Millar replied

Thank you Anthea. The balance there, the love shared naturally, not forced,
    but its forces felt.
Digressing a bit, I’ve been to ballet type shows, and the very best are the
shows that clearly depict the perfect balance of masculine/feminine.
It is sad that family structures can flounder with the absence of that balance.
