Curtiss P-47G Thunderbolt 42-25068 nickname “Sanfu” on the Flightline of Duxford, Cambridgeshire awaiting the Airshow.
Snafu made a belly landing on 15th Dec 1944 beyond repair. 2011 it saw the public debut in the Fighter collection at Duxford, yet was not airworthy. It was restored, and took its first engine tests in January 2012. On 21 April snafu was allowed for the fist testflight in Duxford with Chief Pilot Pete Kynsey at the controls.
