Hello, I am an Amateur Photografer living in Graz, Austria.
I work as Interpreter/ Translator, but i always had a passion for photography

I started in the late 80´s with the camera my father gave to me. It was an old Asahi Pentax with Takumar Lenses that he had used before for many years. He was an Amateurfotografer taking pictures on Car Racing Tracks for Magazines and capturing Weddings.I also learnt to develop analog b/w and colour Film.

For years then i forgot about my hobby. I was studying in Austria, UK and Italy and did not find the time for photography.

2009 i bought an Canon 50d with the kitlense 17-85mm, just for fun and travels.

I found that the new digital technology has so many advantages to the analogue era that i soon became addicted to photography, more than i was then in the old days, and i started to take pictures almost every day, as my job allows.

I recently bought me a Canon 5d MkII in addition to the 50d which i still appreciate for sports and action photography. I have added several prime lenses since i like to get the best quality in terms of sharpness, contrasts, distortion.

I shoot mainly in Raw and like HDR Images, but not the overenhaced ones, more the natural looking type.
