Hi all you redbubblers around Sydney- working on plans to do a workshop tour that will take in Sydney from October 21st until November 4th. I teach clay sculpture, oil painting, textured and glazed acrylics, and my own original inking techniques to make wild and wonderful works- even for those with no painting experience!

Big changes afoot

Hi all, have had very little time for redbubbling lately, with huge things happening in my life!
One excitement is that I am a featured artist in this months Australian Artist Magazine- a goal I set myself 10 years ago! Great to see my work in print, and AA did a fabulous job, reproducing the colours brilliantly!

More Corruption

Well call me gobsmacked! In a recent local competition, it was announced on opening night that the judge had elected to not award the prize in a particular section. O.K., it says in the rules that if the judge deems the entries in any section to be insufficiently meritorious, then he need not award that prize.
However…... apparently the real story is that the sponsor simply did not like any…

Just home from a competition opening night, and once again the judge was from the broadly local area. Once again, the judge awarded an artist well known to them personally, even though the work in question was far from that artists usual high standard.
