Hey Guys
Well i bought a Nikon D40 with the standard 18-55mm lense and a 50mm 1.8 lense :) Nice bit of kit, ive also picked up a SB600 flash, Aus Geo Tripod, Lowepro EX160 bag and some other bits and pieces. Really just starting to get into it, i dont know much about PP or cropping or even file management!
SO im really just starting off, ive taken some nice photos so far, i hope to put the best of these up here soon.
Lense wise, i think ill look to invest in a 55 – 200 or 18 – 200mm VR, and the Sigma 10 – 20mm is definitely on my shopping list!
My general photography interests are vast, im looking at doing Aquarium photography, motorsport photography, portaits, landscapes as well as flora shots. A bit of everything
TBH im just happy i have a kit ready to go :)
You guys take some amazing shots, really a lot of inspiration!

The best kit for the best price! I only ever use my 10-20 and 50mm with a D40. Superb equipment.

Thanks guys :) I suppose after seeing so many wonderful shots on here its intimidating putting some of mine ill. I’ll have a look at cropping some of my photos over the weekend and putting them up :)
