POSSESSION I

Natasha Normans artistic practise is concerned with symbolism: how society creates symbols, how symbols communicate ideas to us and why some symbols have become heirlooms that are passed down the generations.

Advertising’s visual language has become a very real part of communication in our society today. Natasha uses its language to communicate abstract notions, in a sense to tap into a contemporary symbolic code and use it to evoke more archaic wisdom.
