This Corsair was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R2800-8W 2,250 hp radial engine. Max speed of 425 mph. During 2001 the Fighter Factory undertook a massive project to restore the FG-1D back to it’s origional wartime configuration.

I began studying digital imaging and editing in 2005, and while still attending the School of Hard Knocks, I do not anticipate graduating anytime soon, as this industry changes by the minute…..Bobby

    Thank you Mike, the Corsair was pretty awesome. The Uk had alot of awesome firepower going up during World War 2. My faves were the Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXe, Hawker Hurricane Mk IIB, and the DeHavilland Mosquito (all versions)…..Bob
