East Coast Adventures of the "Skinny Little Kid from Cleveland, Ohio"
My trip began on October 21st, 2009 at 3:45 am, locked and loaded for my solo photographic journey.Off to the New England states for 6 wonderful days. First stop, the KeyCorp ATM at the corner, to get some traveling cash. With cash and receipt in hand, I was off. After 384 mile of driving, my first stop for gas was Oneida, NY. However, a little nap would do me good. I dozed off for an hour. I felt refreshed from the nap, but when I went to pump gas. I reached into my wallet for my trusty ATM card and discovered that I never retrieved it from the machine in Cleveland, Yipes! After a few frantic phone calls I learned that after 30 seconds left in the machine, it is retrieved, eaten, then digested (really shredded). I was assured there was no problem, upon reaching my destination would be able to replenish my funds. I made it without further incident to my KOA cabin tucked away (far away) into the beautiful woodland area of Freeport/Durham, Maine. The host, Bob Lane was very accommodating. His campground has gotten many awards, the latest being: 2008 President’s Award and 2008 Founders Award. Please, if you ever dream of autumn camping in Maine, this is a definite 5 star outfit. Go to http://www.freeportkoa.com/ or contact Bob or Christine at freeportkoa@hotmail.com
After settling in, I drove to Freeport to find a bank. Stay tuned for the further adventures of “the skinny little kid” will be adding more photographs and journal entries
Next entry preview: What do you mean, I look like I’m here to embezzle money,...wait..
