I’m not usually a great fan of selective colouring – but I thought I’d give it a go with this shot.

It’s a great garage, I even asked the guys could they move the cars so I could get a shot of it, you’ve made the most of the opportunity here, well done

I am a fan of selective coloring. I like what you’ve done with the red. Personally I would offset it by putting a slight tone (sepia-like) on the words’ Koroit Motor Garage’ to add balance. Selective is something you should pursue a bit, I think you would like it.

  • Tried it and I agree – in fact I think a soft sepia tone to the whole image softens the contrast nicely.

Heather- if you tried it you should post it. I think you would be very good at it. Selective toning can be very cheesy or very effective/beautiful if applied with consideration and not a heavy hand.
