I passed this sad-looking building on the Geelong-Ballan Road yesterday. A thoroughly miserable day – cold, wet, grey – and this dwelling looked so forlorn sitting there against the colourless sky. Texture layers added. Nikon D300 with 18 – 200mm lens.
My Dad would take us here to the moto cross in the late 60’s……….its was so great, up to our knees in mud all day, smelling two-stroke fuel………ahhhh the good old days. I think we would actually got drinks here on the way home.

such a gorgeous capture, great work with the processing adds so much mood to it
passed this a few weeks back and thinking it would make for a good photographic opportunity, this has come out a treat Heather
Thanks John. I ‘captured’ a swag of similar shots – most of them, like this one, taken from my car because it was raining!
