The annual ‘Pako Festa’ in Geelong – a festival celebrating the diverse cultural groups that add so much to Australia’s identity. I stayed to photograph the parade but a light drizzle that gradually soaked my back sent me scurrying home when the parade was finished.
But I just have to relay a classic remark that I overhead:
“Where’s the Aussie Group?” said a chap behind me. Think he missed the whole point of the festival somehow!!!!!

What a lovely bunch of cuties! hehe I’m so sad I missed it for the 2nd year running, still getting over a wopper of a cold. Funny remark, the whole bunch are the Aussie group! Especially No. 23 :o)

Beautiful candid portraits Heather. I saw allot of really nice Canon gear down there when I went to perform. I played on the Barking Dog stage. I was a bit slack and didn’t bring my camera down. I was quite busy that day squeezing in a game of golf, a fish from my boat in the rather nasty waves of Corio Bay and a dinner in Melbourne so taking photos was not really an option.
Heather Prince...:
I was probably the only one with a Nikon!!!!!
Mark Elshout
Did you say you were the only one with taste??? hahaha!

It is nice the way Nikon match the colour of their lenses with their bodies!!!!
