Geelong Camera Club do Melbourne by Heather Prince ( Hartkamp )

Posted on January 12, 2010

Geelong Camera Club caught the train to Melbourne last Sunday in search of architectural photography. Or, that was the excuse! It seemed more like a great day out with like-minded people who just love toting a camera around. Lunch at Young and Jackson’s pub in the CBD broke up the search for photos on a fairly hot day. I had to manage without a wide-angle lens but a new one is on the way. Thanks to Margaret Metcalf for her military-like organisation.

Here’s some of my haul from the day…….

The new soccer and rugby league stadium currently under construction….

Stunning shots Heather, very well captured.

See you have you fair share of graffiti out there too.

Fantastic Heather. 13 I love, it’s like a 3D! Bit scarey too, as I have a lot of very similar images, even when we we’re no where near each other! I think we might “see” things in a similar way! Though mine have much room for technical improvement LOL!

  • Heather Prince...:

Yes, I agree Anne. We do ‘see’ things in a similar way. #13 I spotted down in a corner of a doorway – I thought it was interesting that street art was also 3D.
