Heather Prince ( Hartkamp )

A damp New Year's Eve in Geelong!!!! by Heather Prince ( Hartkamp )

Posted on December 31, 2009

I saw this front approaching about 8pm so (once again) jumped in the car down to Corio Bay. Managed a few shots before the heavens opened and nature’s ‘fireworks’ started. (Bad luck about the real fireworks for the New Year’s Eve celebrations – although, as I am sitting here, there are some fireworks happening, trying to compete with the lightning)

Gorgeous images even if it is overcast, however if it’s any consolation, it’s pretty miserable here too in Sydney :)

    Great shots Heather.
You never know though, there’s still a couple of hours in your neck of the woods till midnight. So, you might still have your fireworks yet.
    Happy New Year.

What a fantastic set of shots Heather, very well captured. Hope you had your camera well protected and didn’t get too wet.

Heather. I am jealous that you got the chance to shoot that storm front. It was amazing and I wanted to get some shots but I was in Highton in the valley with no good shot to take and by the time I got to the city it was raining. :( Happy new year. Love these shots.
