Worth the Wait
A heron fishing in the shallow water of Corio Bay in Geelong on a very calm afternoon. It was standing in a reflection of a white cloud which appears to have highlighted it. I waited for ages to snap him with a fish – so we were both rewarded for our patience.

Thanks for your comment George. The image is already cropped because the bird was a long way away even for my 200 mm lens but there were such lovely reflections in the water that I wanted to feature them also. Glad you took time to look closely though – much appreciated!
