Ohio’s reenactment of the Manassas campaign of 1861. In the early stages of the war there was confusion over the uniforms, and as the war progressed gray became the official color of the confederate army.

Great shot! I have lived in TN. for nearly 20 years and have never been to a reenactment! There is a big one close to where I live … The Battle of Franklin. Have been to the battlefield and seen the mini ball holes in historic buildings though! Oh…the sepia is perfect!
Thank you so much Karen. You should go to a reenactment , the people in Ohio love the history, and really made a great effort creating the time period. I imagine the experience in TN. would be just as nice.
