DAR: National Socety Daughters of the American Revolution, ME??? belongs to the following groups:

A friend of mine did some family tree research on my grandmother, on Dad’s side. and she found a hot shot general that worked with GEORGE WASHINGTON and John Adams and all those guys! He has3 landmark plaques in Pennsylvania. Patriot in War, a war hero. General Daniel Brodhead. 1736 – 1809. We are related to him through his daughter Phebe Brodhead. Somewhere down the line she or someone married a Sapp. That’s my Grandma’s maiden name. We also have a bunch of Civil war heroes too in the tree. My great, great grandpa Sapp. On the south side. My family roots are Dutch then from their it got to Kentucky. That’s all on Pop’s side of the family.
Well I am gonna try to see if I can get in the DAR, that would sure be cool, historically!!
Mom’s side we are French and there is some blue blood in there that goes back to 14 centry or so. I’m a French princess! Not much at all on line tho, it’s in a book from the 1700s my grandmother had.
so my family is Dutch and Irish (grandma’s husband, Dad’s father McCarty, Where it is possible Billy the Kid hangs in the tree!)
and French and Belgin.(grandpa side)
So exited!
