well, it’s not done with other images. It’s a painting. This is done by first getting a blank file in photo shop, then looking at a model the way a portrait artist does, I draw the body, clothing , hair all that with a graphic pen. make a layer and fill in colors then tool the drawing, the just use the airbrush tool to paint details. It is a digital painting not photo manipulation, Sometimes it can be hard to tell which is which. hope that helps :)

With a wacom tablet? I realize it is not a manip, but I also realize how much time it takes to create a painting like, or 3d like image. Because I still work, I have yet to adopt software of this type and learn how to use it. When I retire I will explore many of these programs… ; )

OH yes I hear you… well all you need is a Photo Shop program or one called Painter, or Carell (sp) and the Waccom and boom your set, you can digitally paint.
