WALL of CLAY: "The Relic"
This one is a little different. When I made it it looked just like my husband, Pat, then it blew up in the keln during the bisc firing
This is only a bics. It has been buffed with floor wax, stained by hand with acrylic paint, blue and orange, then a friend mounted it on to an oak wood plaque.
It ended up looking cool after all so I saved it.

I love it when “happy accidents” happen. The kiln process can be so unpredictable and at the same time so magical. I love the end result of this one. It makes for a really interesting and dynamic piece. Excellent work as always.
