Waiting for nothing
I love shooting at night, and generally am out alone when I’m shooting – it’s when I produce my best work (in my mind anyway).
This is one of my favorite places in the city. You can sit here alone for hours, traffic streaming past, only the occasional pedestrian, while hundreds, or even thousands of people are just a few feet below. It’s both a quiet spot to find refuge, and a place that symbolizes the loneliness and isolation that can be experienced in a city of millions.

This is damn awesome because I can’t even figure out what / where it is due to the perspective. Usually, that’d be a negative comment, but with this shot it’s the colours and shapes that bring it alive. This is so, so cool. Great shot.

You “squeezed” from a mundane picture an intriging work of art. It took 33 deg and a good vision. Great title also: it’s when you wait for nothing that you find everything.

Extreme awesomeness ! Looks like a scene from Bladerunner !

the angle makes this a very interesting shot. Angles can do a lot for photos if you can tilt that camera just right heh. Good shot!

Great shot – is that the Cahill Express?
Sara Lamond in reply to ADMarshall’s comment, 8 months ago
Hi
Thanks! yes, it’s the Cahill – a spot I know well and spent a lot of time in – having worked at Circular Quay for a few years. Currently based at St Leonards for work – must explore the area more :)
ADMarshall, 8 months ago
I’m in St Leonards also – if you have a look at “Cycle Track” – you may notice it is down the road!
