Built in 1937, I love the way this slightly weathered seaside building hints at it’s purpose as well as the art deco era in which it was constructed.

    Yes, I do. I grew up in Long Beach, and have a lot of images from there, that I’m slowly turning into paintings. BTW, have you seen the boat houses in Encinitas?

  • I grew up in Long Beach as well Michael! and it’s so great to see some of your LB images. I love your one from 4th street, it really sets the mood of the street. I’ll be posting a few from that area soon. Yes, the boat houses are really something and I have many shots of them, haven’t posted any yet tho… I drive by them often when I’m in town and am always looking for an unusual view of them. :))
