wow – this is stunning for me… perfect horizontals and verticals… love how you have framed this and exposed one human element… sensational work!
Paul, you’re making my day again by favoriting this image!! truly. & WoW as well. and I was doubtful about uploading it. -must rearrange my brain cells. I’m looking forward to your next & perhaps “fruitful” images ;) thank you so much….
Thank you, Paul, you are so kind! It’s such an incredibly grand space, it felt best to have the human element. I do, however, think I have plenty to learn about handling that much light well. Many thanks for your observations & comments, sooo much appreciated!!
thank you so very much, Linaji! I’m thrilled to have it featured in “Nirvana”!!! very happy, thank you again!!! and now I’d like to have a nice nap on that beautiful limestone bench like the woman in the photo -but it’s off to work with me!!

so much negative and still a ton of things to look at
Thank you, Kriss! It’s the Salk Institute designed by Louis Kahn. I was there last Tuesday and it’s a photographer’s dream!! My three most recent photos are from there and more in the chute. many thanks again for taking the time to comment & say Hello!!
jeez, almost stuck the reply in the wrong area again, such bad habits in only weeks!!

Wow, this is magnificent. – the straight lines, that wonderful;y large negative space and the one small human presence, plus the wonderfully handled lighting, they all come together beautifully.
many thanks for your kind comments! it’s an amazing space and lends itself so well to photography – it was an absolute pleasure being there, thanks again! ;)

worry not,
I still do it too and then have to cut and paste into the right place DOH!
I like the sense of mass here……the fact that you kept the “open air” part perfectly square is great – and the inclusion of the person crucial to the shot to show scale. Nice work B – I can’t wait to get there one day!
thank you so much, Julian! with that courtyard being so stunning is was difficult to choose which image to upload & the woman resting in the sun made the decision for me. Perhaps I’ll add another at some time to show the symmetry of the space. I can’t wait to hear & see your images and reactions when you visit there!! ahh, -love buildings….
