Gravity

Gravity

…and weightlessness. I’ve been pondering these opposing yet complementary forces lately, looking at their effects on our minds, bodies and spirits while experimenting with capturing movement. I especially like the way the early evening half moon shines brightly through the figure in this one.

Thank you for visiting…

It’s perfect for the competition! Best thing about composer is you can set it to blur and do self portraits now….the older lensbabies had to be held….I love the way lensbabies make me stretch myself to do different things…..good luck, you’ve got my vote!

  • deepbluwater replied

Wow! I am so excited about the possibilities now! and I love being stretched to do new things… Huge & enormous (ginormous) LOL, thanks to you Mel for your inspiration, enthusiasm & support.
Now I can’t wait to do more work with motion!!

YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS… the way the figure is so well represented and then you have this disappearing act… like overlays of the environment over form… and, marvel at the control in the way this is shot… also love the point of view and framing, so well thought out and makes it so easy to embrace… a clever, original piece of work.. totally love this! Lots to like here!!!

  • deepbluwater replied

You are the best Paul! ;)) so glad you like the details in this image…
I really appreciate hearing your thoughts and I love what you see!
Thanks so much for your words, now I’m even more inspired to continue experimenting along these lines…
