We often figuratively wear a mask that we think others will find beautiful. It is usually projected to be more balanced and simultaneously more ambiguous. Wearing the mask can blind others and even ourselves to the true beauty lying beneath the surface. Yet remove the mask, and we are more beautiful, albeit more imperfect, than any contrived superficial projection.
This was done using a standard ink pen on ordinary printer paper.
