Deborah Turner

I am an artist / image-maker working out of London in the United Kingdom.

I took my art Foundation Studies and then a BA in Graphic Design (Illustration) at the Central St Martins College of Art in London, graduating in 2005.

I find my inspiration in the people I meet – noting how they interact with each other, the places they inhabit and their cultural history – then use this to inform my artistic practice. I like all of my art to “tell a story” or incite emotion – whether that makes a pretty picture or not.

I prefer to work across a range of mediums and methods, however all of my images feature the same boldness of mark making and lively expression.
