this beauty in the yard caught my eye as i was leaving my apt. building – bellingham, washington, usa – and i just had to take its portrait. foxglove has always been a fav with me for its look but became even more so when i learned that it’s used in certain heart medications. this one is dedicated to the memory of my late mum who also loved foxglove

    They are a gorgeous flower alright. We saw some growing wild a few weeks ago. I still have yet to post them. I wasn’t aware of their medicinal purposes!
