i think nature’s beauty can be found everywhere if one is looking. the sun was so perfect and the background so different i just had to stop on my way into the grocery store – in my hometown bellingham, wa usa – to shoot this beautiful calla lily in their garden department. shot from below and done black&white with some extra contrast and sharpened to enhance the curve and texture

Excellent concept and execution.
thank you very much. “its better to be lucky than smart i always say” and this one proves it as i just happened to have my cam along as i went grocery shopping and this was in a display by the door. advantage of liveing in a smallish town for a long time is everyone knows me and i rarely get hassled for taking pics almost anywhere
