ruby beach is an awesome place and one of my favorites on earth. i always seem to ponder my place and responsibilites in this world whenever i visit this grand palce. it is on the west coast of washington state’s scenic olympic peninsula just south of the town of forks, wa of “twilight” fame. the small people in the lower center give scale. the water to the right of the sand bar is a fresh water river flowing out to the pacific ocean on the left
