flowering quince cluster by dedmanshootn

i love the flowering quince, beautiful despite it’s thorns – you can see one to the left – and spiky stringy branches. my neighbor – bellingham, washington, usa – has a lovely big shrub, almost tree really, which is where i got this shot. this was inside the center of the whole bush which is why the background is so spotted. dedicated to those wonderful folks who’ve so kindly found me to be worth putting up with my thorns
