    Very pretty flowers, I have not see this before

  • I found them for the first time last spring. They are African and they are a spring flowering bulb. Bought the first one from a nursery and then got quite a few for $2 each from a guy at the local market. They have only just finished flowering now.

    These are so beautiful Elaine never seen these before, what are they?

  • They are a bulbous plant Malcolm, native to Africa. They may not grow too well in cold climates, but will probably do well in pots indoors. Here they flower well in the spring.
