_Canon 7D (Canon Lens EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS) _
Taken with at home in Bridgetown.

Dedicated to my dear staffie, Mandy. This was taken when she was 12 years old and would’ve been the last photo I took of her, which is probably why it is my favourite. We had to send her to doggie heaven when her heart failed two months ago. For ever in our hearts dearest Mandy.

  • Thanks for commenting Malcolm. She’s just had her 12th birthday – I think that makes her 84 in human years.

I really like the photo Elaine. Love the Sepia tones and slight Vignetting you’ve used, really bringing emphasis to the wonderful model. Interesting when I first saw the Photograph it reminded me of one that might have been taken in the deep south of America during the 19th Century, I think it has a very much a timeless quality. :-)

  • Hi Mark, Sorry for the late reply, but it seems my prevous reply to you didn’t get saved. I really appreciate your great feedback on my image of Mandy and would also like to thank you for adding me to your watchlist. Mandy is 12 years old and, although she has a habit of carrying on like a puppy, she will often just suddenly collapse from it all and this is how I found her on the deck.

  • Mandy thinks she has a hard life Penny by the amount of complaining she does. Thanks for commenting.
