This is my staffie, Mandy, who is 12 years old now and thinks she’s still a pup. She was waiting for me to throw her a stick; one of her favourite pastimes is swimming out for the stick. When she was younger she used to actually dive down to the bottom of the river and come up with new sticks and sometimes other stuff that had sunk to the bottom.

Aaaawww I have such a soft spot for staffies Elaine she’s looking at you so lovingly , great sepia tones an the shadow is awesome.
Everyone loves a staffie Helen. She gets so much attention when I walk into town with her. Thanks for the kind words in your comment.

Fabulous capture Elaine! She still looks like a puppy! Love the sepia tones.
Thanks Ginny. She’s put on weight since she had the tumour removed and also seems to have more energy. We are making the most of her whilst we still have her.

Does she retrive the camera when you throw it? :-)
She would if I threw it. LOL!

this reminds me of a camera add on tv a while back where a young guy was trying to get his big dog to cough up his camera, Olympus i think like my new underwater job.
So, if he got the camera back I wonder if there were pics of the dog’s stomach on it. Ugh. Guess you’re all set for summer then with the underwater job.

Haha, beautiful! I have a staffie too (Brian), but he hates water! He seems to like chasing the chickens more than sticks…. Beautiful photo as well, the sepia works so well!
Thanks for the comment Jasmin. Mandy got hold of one of the neighbours’ chickens. I think the neighbours probably had chicken dinner that night.
