On the way to Wagin we stopped at Arthur River and I was rapt to find this gorgeous old cottage on the main strip of this very small country town.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve driven through Arthur River, despite which I have never ever spotted this lovely old cottage. Just shows that on our long journeys we need to slow down and maybe even come to a complete stop a bit more often! Terrific photo Elaine and expertly processed in the most appropraie style.
    Take care

I actually typed “appropriate” but the keyboard decided otherwise. Well, it IS the middele of the night!!

  • LOL! Know what you mean about the ‘middele’ of the night Peter. Sometimes I just have to close down before my eyelids do. Thanks for the comment. The cottage is opposite the one and only store in Arthur River. There is a funny road sign just before reaching the store saying ‘General Store – on the top of the hill,’ which is actually where it’s situated. Right on top of the hill.
