Got this shot at about 5.30pm on a Sunday in January at North Quay Beach in Fremantle. Ex Tropical Cyclone Bianca was starting to show itself on the horizon and the waves were really choppy. The police were trying to get people out of the water and close the beach when this jet ski owner decided to go for the launch. He got a few metres into the ocean, struggled madly to steer in the right direction when the waves tossed him and his jet ski backwards onto the rocks. The jet sky landed on top of a rock and had to be lifted off. Wish I could’ve got a shot of the jet ski on the rock, but I wasn’t quick enough and had the wrong lens on the camera.
