Taken in Gloucester National Park, Pemberton, Western Australia.
Some desaturation on the background in Photoshop.
This delightful vine flowers profusely in spring in the Australian bushland, climbing up trees and growing along the ground to create a profusion of purple amongst the grey/green of the bushland.

What a great shot Elaine – so sharp and in focus in the foreground and so beautifully blurry in the background.

  • Thanks Caroline. The coral pea comes in various colours here. It looks so pretty in spring when it tangles itself around the trees.
