Used as a laundry during the time the old lighthouse was in operation. There are also 3 cottages in the grounds of the lighthouse, which were lived in by the lighthouse keepers.

    beautiful composition.. its nice experimenting with colors as here in the sky

    Amazing! The number of times over the years that we have walked along that path to the lighthouse and stopped to take photos of the cottages yet I don’t ever recall giving this building a second glance! It just goes to show what I have missed because it makes a great photo in the right hands and really emphasises how they used to live in those not so far off days.

  • Since taking up photography again Peter I’ve started looking at many things in a totally different light. I’m sure some people think I’m probably eccentric over the places I stop to take photos, particularly when I’m taking photos to use as textures.
