Canon 450D
6 exposures, HDR processed in Photomatix.
Took this from the inside of my gate on a foggy morning. I’ve been wanting to get a similar shot to the one I took last year, but that was with my Olympus 410mju. I’m not sure which one I prefer. Here is the the Olympus one, but it can’t be blown up as much as the Canon one.

PS Id love to see shots up the drive and the house Elaine. My mind is working overtime.x

  • Thanks Catherine and thanks for the fave. I personally don’t think my house is too easy to photograph and it’s nothing special to look at from the outside especially at this time of year – winter here. I’ll take some from different angles in the spring/summer when all is brighter and the garden quite spectacular.

great HDR Elaine…as you say the Canon shot looks better.

  • Thanks Trevor for telling me which one you prefer, ‘cause I really can’t decide. It’s just a shame that the original one can’t be enlarged as much as the Canon one.

    Beautiful shot Elaine , just gorgeous.x a fav .

  • Thank you Irene and thanks so much for the fave. I’m glad you like it. The original one I took last year actually got a ’People’s Choice’ Award in our local camera club exhibition so it’s interesting to get a diversity of opinion.

Great HDR Elaine, Bridgetown loves its fog !!

  • It certainly does Adrian. I’m trying to get up enough energy to get up earlier and take some shots of the river in the fog, but it’s very, very cold out there. Thanks for looking and for your comment.
