Taken along the Blackwood River walk trail in Bridgetown, WA, this section is part of the loop that runs for 8 Kms and also incorporates an 8m suspension bridge that crosses to the other side of the river. From there you can walk to the River Park recreational area and, if you feel inclined to take a trail away from the ‘loop,’ you can take the 1.5 Km Old Rectory Walk (sometimes flooded in the winter) up to the old rectory house and then return to the park via the Brockman Highway before crossing the road bridge to continue the ‘loop.’

Canon 450D, 3 bracketed exposures and HDR processed in Photomatix.

You have the knack of turning the most ordinary scene into something special and this is the sort of photo I really enjoy. Great work. Peter

  • Well thank you Peter. You just hit on exactly what I enjoy doing. Whether it’s photography or simply decorating something, I love turning nothing into something.
