A beautiful aurtumn picture Elaine
Elaine Teague replied
Thanks Colin. I think that’s about it for now with the misty/foggy ones – until I get down to the river one early morning that is.

VERY very good idea.. there is a sort of 3 layer build up wich makes it very special
( rule of thirds)
Elaine Teague replied
Hmmm, didn’t do any layer build ups, but I took 3 exposures and produced an HDR, processed in Photomatix. Glad you like it and thanks for the fave.

Very nicely created Elaine and there is certainly more to HDR than meets the eye isn’t there? One of the secrets is to keep it toned down, as you have done here. An excellent piece of work. Peter
Elaine Teague replied
Thanks Peter for your fine comment. I’m enjoying using Photomatix for the HDR. It certainly brings out what the camera is seeing and sometimes the eye doesn’t seem to.

beautiful capture, this is one thing I miss living in the north, is the fall colors… but I know what follows that season…. cold. lol
Elaine Teague replied
And I thought Perth was the only place that didn’t get the 4 seasons. Where I live further south we don’t get winter as such, but it does get pretty cold. I haven’t seen snow since Ieaving UK 30+ years ago.
