Bryan Villamin
It’s a writer’s group meeting! Put down the camera Mark.
Mark German
Heh – I multi-task, Bryan ;)
Besides, someone has to capture the moments :)
Lisa Jewell
This is incredibly special; you’ve captured an almost spiritual light upon the book and hand that feels the words, while speaking them aloud for all to embrace. I am honoured to be a member of the writers group. During our times, there is a gifted fellowship enjoyed.
Beautiful work…
ajreece
Love the composition and lighting here!!!!
Brad Sumner GLP
Very poignant! Great capture, Mark! Glad to see you posting photos again!
Oli Johnson
wonderful shot.
Adriana Glackin
Very nice shot, the warm tones, the dof, the everyday-ness of it – yet you’ve made it very special, indeed.
Rosalie Dale IPA
I am pleased you are a multi-tasker – this is rivetting – and the light is magic.
Matthew Stewart
You’ve got a very fantastic eye Mark. Keep up the good work.
Coralie Casey
Great lighting and angle…
mick8585
nice composition mate. I see what you mean about the light.
Rhana Griffin
As I clicked on the thumbnail and before reading the description I thought this might have been taken in church such is the almost spiritual light you have captured here.
Then I saw the empty glass ;)
Mark German
Ah….Mick – shall we mention who the model was?
And you remembered what I saw – makes me happy :)
Thanks, everyone above.
Ian James
Great use of natural light Mark….nice one

Shot Mark…I really like how the writing looks to be a silver leaf upon parchment paper giving it an aristocratic feel to it.
Bruce Watson
Would not look out of place as a book cover with the heading ‘Points from the Pulpit’. (Well, maybe not with the straw in the glass!). Anyway, a thoughtful shot, with good lighting/depth of field selection.
Mark German
Something I like about this shot which hasn’t been mentioned, is the tension of the liquid underneath the book. Mean anything to anyone?
Derivatix
interesting shot, like this one a lot!
Christina Martin
thoughtful shot! well done
marieancolie
I noticed the empty glass and water on the wood….
the person was so occupied in the reading, following the words with one finger, to not miss even a comma.
I love, love this one. Intense emotion.
Anisha Aiyappa
