colours are beautiful! where is this???
Mark German
Yes, watched the entire SG1 series :)
This is an old shot tower in Melbourne central, which has been ‘preserved’ by building around it (enclosing it) in a shopping/office complex.
Thanks for the comments, guys :)

I keep staring – it’s making me dizzy now…

Cool perspective and treatment. Not for those that suffer from vertigo.
Julie Langford
Wow – now this is a bit special – I had one serious case of vertico looking at this. To be able to stand under this beast, point your camera up and get such an immaculate shot is awesome – I would have fallen over just looking up – Brilliant Mark.

Can’t fall over when you’re lying down, Julie ;)
Thanks, buddy :)

Ahhhh – see, now thats what makes the difference between a pro and a hobbyist – I wouldnt have thought of lying down :) Will from now on though – Thanks for the tip
Although I have crawled on my tummy to get a shot – just wouldnt have thought of what you did to get this, and I still would have had vertico I think.
Jan Piller
Wow!! Freaky cool shot Mark! Great perspective but this also a great docuphoto! This should be in a travel magazine!

G’day Mark,
Most impressive my good man!
Your gymnastics has produced a great perspective and your framing/cropping has produced a very well composed image.
The subject is unusual and made moreso by your angle of shot and that it was made at night.
Wonderful lines take the eye on an incredible journey right through the scene as even though it is so “busy”, I did not feel lost in it all and took it all in.
The image has very good light, great depth and sharpness and all the tones and contrasts are very pleasing.
Great work mate!

Hi Mark, I designed and programmed the lighting for the shot tower back in 2005. every 6 months we change the images and colours being projected onto the shot tower.
Thank you for capturing my art work in the way you have!
Well done on such a great shot!
