MissKristy

MissKristy
Okay..this is the start of it..
Through dirt-stained amber glasses
I see the truth in your myriad of lies
I see the beauty in your imperfections
I see the story of your life.
Will come back and finish it later :) Thanks for the inspiration!! HUGS
Antanas
Very interesting work.
micmac
this geen-house is not so green anymore but what a good picture ,nice work Mark
Lisa Jewell
I love this image so much, it gives me a sense of looking through the layers of a person’s life…from a voyeuristic vantage point.
The colour is wonderful, the dancing light that allows the viewer to see inside the glasshouse is magic..
Cathleen Taraw...
Wow, the angles and reflections are stunning.
Brett Foster
Very cool image Mark. Great colour tone but I really like the almost/not quite/mystery of what lies beneath.
Rhana Griffin
Again with the eye for the lines Mark… another superbly shot piece.
Mark German
Thanks, all :)
Kristy – glad to be of service :)
PB/Lisa – yep, that’s exactly how I see it too.
David Thibodeaux

Juilee Pryor
lovely image.

Good tight image Mark. Any sepia here?
Mark German
No, not at all, Mick. Just afternoon sun and dirty-glass filters :)
Saturation and contrast were boosted slightly.

Glad I don`t do Window! Atleast not those ones! It is neat I like the peaking through and seeing glimpses of things inside. Like trying to figure out what they are. mysterious. Just enough sunrays seep through to show a bit of what it holds, but not it all. Leaving you wondering. The refraction of the light is great! I like it! Good job!
minoanphotography
great shot mark- lovn the textures.
Christina Martin
I love this image! great work Mark.
Jeffrey Sinnock
nice shot !!! I have a whole web page of nothing but windows and doors very cool. Thought I was only one that looked at the world a dirty behind glass.
Mark German
Thanks, guys :)
Jeff – I ‘look’ at the most strangest of things…which often causes others to look strangely at me….
Just this morning, I was locked out of my house, and waiting for a key to arrive. I ‘happened’ ( ; ) to have my gear on me, so I started taking shots of cracks in the road, which were filling with wattle blossoms. I’m sure people walking by thought I was a nut…but I got a few good shots :)
Antoine Dagobert
I Love this one Mark…what a great idea..you always have something special in mind…Well Done!best regards
Torfinn Johann...

It’s absolutely fantastic what subjects you can find and turn it into a work of art? Maybe I have to tell my husband that our house is a work of art if I let you come and photograph it? :-D
Brilliant shot!

I love this image, it struck me right away. Is this a greenhouse? It’s really fantastic how you captured the feeling of the sun coming through the glass.
Mark German
Thanks for all the comments, all.
Kerry – yep, a not-so-greenhouse :)
I was on a tog-meet at the time, and got a little bored watching everyone taking macros of flowers. Partly because I have yet to get myself a macro lens :)
Paul Vanzella

Bruce Watson
Reminds me of the classic Polanski thriller ‘The Tenant’. I think he fell through something like this!
A fine example of the photographer’s eye elevating the seemingly mundane.

Love the framing, very intrigueing, love the way you can just see in,
the eye is drawn through the glass to see into the green house.
Nicely taken, excellent light,
Even the patternation of the glass has a real abstract feel to it.
