She never really fit in,
Too shy, too loud,
Never getting the balance
Wanted by the crowd.
They pointed and laughed,
She shivered and cried,
If only they knew
How she was feeling inside.
Surely they would stop this,
This teasing and taunting,
At night in her bed
These dreams that were haunting.
Just misunderstood,
A little girl lost,
Only needed one friend,
She’d be free of these ghosts.
Living in hope
Of being looked at and loved,
Always hoping that someday she’d be
Neither pushed at nor shoved.

Powerful work. Well written, and full of feeling. Many people I think can relate to this. People being bullied at school or work etc. Well done.

People can be so cruel. Some People don’t realize what bullying and picking on can do to somebody. This poem really touches me deeply.
