I would like to be able to limit myself to one a month but I think I’m addicted lol – I’ve bought about 37 cards, 3 prints and a t-shirt since joining last December. This does not include my own work. I must stop! Just kidding.

Me too Tammy…. I just can’t narrow it down to one…. I justify it though: for the birthdays/anniversaries/events happening each month I buy em cards off the bubble instead of in local shops. They’re much better quality off here anyway! ;) I bought 8 Cards last month too…. just didn’t post about them. So that’s 14 Cards, a Matted Print and “In The Moment” over the last 2 months…. hmmmm speaking of “In The Moment”.... wonder when it’s gonna get here!

You are so right about the quality. I will never buy another card in a card shop. In fact we were in W H Smiths last week and I was scoffing at how the artists on RB were so much better and the range of work you can buy is staggering. Card shops are limited and they are expensive and the artists probably got peanuts for their shot off a stock photo site anyway. At least I know some of the money is going to the artist on RB ;)

Haha I was doing the same… it’s just a case of sitting down at the start of the month with the diary and making sure you remember everyone you need to buy for in advance!
I think I remember reading somewhere that an artist gets about £100-£200 for an original artwork when sold to a card company. And no royalties after that obv, can you imaging the profits made on some of the most popular cards?! e.g. Think the Me to You bear…... makes me quite mad! lol

For what the card costs us, for the quality, delivery is damn quick all the way from Aus.
I too will never buy any kind of card again for anywhere else other than RB, EVER

hi debbie, I too am sadly addicted to that darn ‘buy it now’ button…I recently went mental, went through my ‘favourites’ and got about 17 cards…I love them all too much to part with…so now I have a lot of cards…I love them though :)
