A major Blip....

Ok so I had been told about this fun, challenging, innovative site well over a month ago (thanks Beckie! ) but only just got round to signing up on Sunday!
Blipfoto that is!

So, the idea is: you take one photo every day, it can be virtually anything you like but it has to be taken the day it is uploaded to represent!

i.e. you can’t take 2 photos today and use one of them for tomorrow’s/yesterday’s entry.
I initially thought, “interesting but no – it would be too hard!” but the more I thought, the more I began to wonder…. is this exactly the challenge I need?

So, here it is….. My Blipfoto Journal

Looks good, but as you said, is this the challenge I need today? More like, Do I need another photo challenge? Maybe it is… thanks for the tip.

I have found (even though it’s only been three days!!!) I make sure I have my camera at all times in case of a photo opp arising unexpectedly AND i tend to push challenge deadlines back a day, then another one, and maybe just another week, til finally the deadline has more than passed and I’ve “missed the boat” so to speak!
This way, I have a new challenge everyday – yay!

    Hey Judy!
You could always search the house for new ways to look at everyday things ;)

There are a lot of “home-ly” things that really make great photos. Nancy, a RB member, has taken pics of buttons, safety pins, and other things. I took a shot of my wooden spoons. We’re pretty immune to the interesting things in the house, which is kind of a shame. I started making a little peep-hole throuh my curled thumb and fore-finger.
Things look very different that way! LOL, no, I have not tripped and fallen. Yet.

Everyone should blip!! It is a daily challenge… which started for me just to see how it would go… ive done photo blogs before and left them for months as had no feed back from them! But Blip is now part of my daily life… the camera comes with me… and i think about random objects a lot more!! Tis fun!!

    Looking good so far Debz!!

There’s an active PAD (photo a day) community over on PBase. I started a PAD on 1 January 2007 and resolved to complete a whole year… but come Jan 1st 2008 I couldn’t bring myself to stop ! It is addictive ;-) I am now in my 16th month – but have friends who are now in their 4th year of PADding ! It does challenge you to see in different ways and I’m sure that I’ve improved through doing the challenge.
