Climbers
Harbour Bridge Climbers on the way down….
Sydney, Australia, October 2007
Canon IXUS 900TI
Passionate as I am about all things Australia at the moment…. I thought I would share one of my favourite experiences…...
I managed to complete the climb myself, (despite a completely irrational fear of heights!), and would highly recommend the experience to EVERYONE!
Some will say “but the pylon lookout is much cheaper”.... yes, but the sense of achievement and 360 degree views of the beautiful city are well worth the extra dollars!!!

those are some surreal looking clouds…About how high up is that?
Debbie Black replied
At the top its about 134 metres above the harbour…. but these climbers were much lower than that… (I zoomed in on them with my feet firmly on the ground….)

fab shot – did you get the shakey knee experience ?
I only got that from a church tower so goodness knows what I would be like with the bridge!
Welcome to the Compact Group by the way :)
Debbie Black replied
I got the shakey knees on the “practice” ladders in the training stage, but was fine when I was up there :S strange but true!!!
