This is the underside of a ‘mollusc’ type animal that lives on the rocks at Pebbly beach,Yuraygir national park nsw, I’ve seen just the ‘shells’ washed onto the beach which are hard and brown…this is the first one I’ve seen their inner beauty!!

    Might be a Chiton shell. They are made up of a bunch of overlaping plates like that.
